A mother of two, who finds myself with a lot more weight on me now (nearing 50) than ever before. Yeah, yeah, still have that left over baby fat from a twenty year old baby (laugh). Looking to slim down tremendously with or without the help and support of others and family! I am determined!! Made it a Half of Century (Still Looking to Transform)

Made it to 50 years old.  Happy Birthday To Me!!  Though I'm glad to make it here (a 1/2 of Century Old), I am still awaiting my transformation.  I know it takes hard work and dedication but sometimes it gets hard to do just that.  My hard work seems to leave with the easy way out and my dedication blows away with frustration.  However, aa long as I'm living and breathing it's never too late to make a commitment and achieve my goals. 

So with that in stead of making a birthday wish, I choose to make a birthday resolution and goal.  Work to loose at least 10 more pds before Thanksgiving!!  I know, I know; just in time to gain all I've lost right back with all the fried chicken, turkey, cornbread dressing, sweet potatoes and loaded greens galore! (lol)  On the real tip, I don't truly plan on over endulging during Thanksgiving Dinner and I encourage all of those who are striving as well to loose weight or reach a weight goal to stay strong, too.  Make good choices over the next couple of months! 

One trick I will try to achieve this time is to eat the veggies first and fill up on veggies and a water and then go to the rest of the dinner and eat in rounds.  The challenge is and will always be to actually heed the fullnees mechanism we each possess...once I feel that full point, STOP EATING -- STOOOOP EATTTTING!!  This will be the challenge; to actually control the mind and stop when the body is screaming for relief.  I usually do the opposite and over indulge, during this time or season, howver, after writing this note to myself and viewing my fault in black and white, I believe I Can, Yes, I Can!  Sometimes writing down your faults and actually facing the raw facts is the best medicine to help you achieve!
